After several years as a fashion model and freelance photographer, Todd Nichols opened his photography business in 2004. Today, he travels worldwide as an award winning photographer, business owner, speaker and consultant. His work has been featured in Colin Cowie Lifestyles, Southern Weddings, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and The Knot.

His photography experience on both sides of the camera gives him the unique perspective of understanding how to relax his clients and make them look and feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. A true people person, Todd’s passion for weddings comes from his intense connection with the human spirit displayed at weddings: the pure emotion, the celebration, and the many stories told throughout the wedding day. Regarded for his storytelling images, he approaches weddings with a keen, documentary anticipation for those spontaneous key moments. Plus, his editorial eye for detail doesn’t miss the exquisite decor and details lovingly chosen by his clients.

In addition, Todd shares his passion and experience by mentoring other photographers and entrepreneurs at workshops and events. Todd has undergone the rigorous training to earn the esteemed designation of Certified Performance Consultant from the Dale Carnegie organization. He enjoys speaking on the subjects of photography, sales, entrepreneurship and personal development.

When Todd is not traveling the globe photographing weddings or speaking, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, backpacking and participating with his sons in Boy Scouts. As an Eagle Scout himself, Todd hopes his sons will attain their Eagle rank also.

Todd resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his two sons and their Labrador, Champ.
